Representing Trent Lakes

Trent Lakes Environmental Advisory Committee (Council Member)

Peterborough County OPP Detachment Board (Chair/Vice-Chair)

Peterborough County OPP Detachment Board (Chair/Vice-Chair)

The Environmental Advisory Committee was assembled as a committee of council. The committee prepared a workplan addressing specific items including the preparation of a Trent Lakes Lake Inventory which is a tool that will be used to assess the health of our lakes.

Prior to April 1, 2024 each municipality in Peterborough County had their own Police Service Board comprised of 3 members. Each PSB was governed by the Police Services Act.

The Police Services Act was replaced with the Community Safety and Police Act. The result was a restructuring of the 7 municipal PSBs into 1 OPP Detachment Board comprised of 15 members.

The Peterborough OPP Detachment Board is responsible for supporting the Detachment Commanders Action Plan and ensuring its implementation along with ensuring the residents of Peterborough County are represented.

I had the honour of being chosen to Chair the board  from its inception in 2024 to January of 2026. I am currently Vice Chair.

I have been on the Board of Directors from 2023 to present. Our board meets once monthly as well as special meetings of committees. I also sit on the PGO HR Committee.
